Restoring a French Mansion

Restoring a French Mansion

The picture of this living room caught my eye, I loved the structure, the moulds and the amazing windows. The decor was also exceptionally beautiful in a very eclectic way. I did a bit of digging and found the rest of the home tour on AD Spain and here it is for you to see too.

It is a mansion from the early 20th Century in Perpignan, France. Originally it was divided and hosted 2 different families, now a day it is the home of an art loving couple, you can tell, the home is full of impressive art all over. Diego Méndez Casariego, based in Barcelona, was in charge to restore it and decorate it. The task seemed pretty straight forward at the beginning but became more complicated the more the project advanced. The end result is however a real winner, a very bright home, where interior and exterior communicate seamlessly. Check it out and judge for yourself.
