whether it’s a fluffy carpet under foot, or the pitter pattern of a pretty tiled floor, it’s a grand start to giving your room a bold personality. if the ground beneath your feet has color and texture everything else takes on a bohemian vibe that’s easy to build on. naturally, you’ll want to consider your color palette but you can either keep the rest of your decor super simple and sparse for a more modern look — or add more complimentary textures and patterns to build upon what you’ve already got going on — from the bottom up, so to speak. i’m super excited to soon share with you my new clé hex tiles in the bathroom, and in the meantime, i’m having fun shopping for bathroom accessories to compliment the moroccan look i’m going for.
